A simple, rugged necklace inspired by those times when our journeys take us all the way to new landscapes. A 16" strand of jasper with a 2" sea tortoise carved from a tiger cowry shell and finished with silver; closes securely with a lobster clasp. Handmade in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Choker-length necklace on a hammered sterling silver chain with Biwa pearls hand-wired to hang naturally. Clasp hooks in front. Chain measures 16 3/4" around neck; drop (section hanging from clasp) adds 6" to total length. Biwa pearls vary in length from 3/4" to 1". Made in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The handmade, elegant necklace of graduated natural Baltic amber chips is capped with Bali silver cones and finished with New Mexico silverwork. Total length is about 29". Made in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A one-of-a-kind necklace with double strands of amethyst and coordinating rice pearls, hand-knotted on lilac silk and finished with an antiqued toggle. The amethyst beads are cut in a roughly cubic, or "book" shape; with the irregular texture of the pearls, they lend this elegant necklace a natural, slightly rugged twist. Strands are about 25" and 27" long. Handmade in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
